Which Narrative™ began in 2019, following my own experience with workplace misconduct.

At the time, I thought I understood what the work was meant to be. I didn't yet understand the significance of the question behind it. I asked:

Which narrative will you lean into?

For years, Which Narrative remained quietly in the background while my own professional and personal experiences continued to reshape my understanding of that question.

I led. I built. I advised. I navigated change. And like many accomplished professionals, I also experienced seasons of overload, uncertainty, exhaustion, and the uncomfortable distance that can develop between being highly capable and actually feeling clear.

Eventually, I understood what had been there all along.

Which Narrative was never about a single experience. It was about what happens when competing stories contend for authority over what we believe, how we decide, and how we lead.

I can carry this.
But should I?

I've succeeded this way before.
But is it still the way forward?

They expect me to know.
I need space to think.

Changing course carries a cost.
So does staying here.

I know what is expected of me.
I also know what I need.

I can continue.
But continuing and leading well are not always the same thing.

Both can be true.

That is what makes the choice consequential.

Competing narratives are not always a matter of right or wrong, truth or distortion. Sometimes, two things are true at the same time.

You can be capable and depleted.
Committed and ready for change.
Certain of what you have built and uncertain about what comes next.
Grateful for where you are and clear that you cannot remain there.

The work is not to deny one truth in favor of another.

It is to recognize what each is telling you- and decide which one deserves authority over what happens next.

Today, the question has evolved:

Which narrative will you believe?

This work is not about ignoring difficult realities or replacing them with a more convenient story. It is about developing the clarity to recognize what is true, the conviction to act on it, and the capacity to lead from a place of greater trust in yourself.

That is the work of Which Narrative™.
